1. How to buy MobTime Cell Phone Manager?

2. Need I pay more when I upgrade Mobtime Cell Phone Mananger after the first time pay?

No, you needn't. You will get the free upgrade forever after the first time pay.

3. Does the trial version have any features limited?

Yes, it does. The feature limited includes that you can't backup and restore your phonebook or contacts, and that the short message sent marked with "MobTime". Please register to enjoy the full version.

4. How to register MobTime Cell Phone Manager?

MCPM will show a registration wizard window after you connect your mobile with PC. Please input your Serial number and operate step by step under the wizard. MCPM will be registered through Internet. In the registration process, MCPM will send the Serial number and the "IMEI" of your phone to the MobTime registration server though Internet. Immediately the MobTime registration server will send back the "Register Code" to MCPM that will then show you that your phone has been registered successfully.

5. How to resolve the problems met in the registration?

If you don't have an Internet access or your computer is behind a proxy server, which leads unsuccessful registration, then you need try to send us an Email with the registration information. MobTime will send you the Register code authorized by MobTime. After you agree to send registration information by Email in MCPM, please do as the following step by step instructions.


1.Input your serial No. (& your Email), confirm. At the moment, you will enter a new window and you can see three ways to register your phone. Please select "Register through Email (send manually)", click "Ok" to continue.
2.Now the software will run your default Email tool (such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and so on) and input your registration information.
3.Send the content of the Email's title to register@mobtime.com via other PC that can connect to the Internet. Within 24 hours by Email we will send you the Register code authorized by MobTime.
4.Connect the phone again in MCPM and input the Registration code into the register area, and then the software will be registered immediately and locally

If the computer is down during the registration process, the end user needs to restart the computer and open the software to register again. If the registration still can't be successful after you try some times, please do like the above way.

6. How long will it take to get the serial number after I pay?

We have taken the advantage of the automatic consignment system in the Share Software Register Center that will send you the serial number immediately or at least within 24 hours after your successful payment. If you don't get the serial number within 24 hours, please contact us via support@mobtime.com.

7. What operating system does MobTime Cell Phone Manager support?

8. What languages does MobTime Cell Phone Manager support?

Now MCPM supports 8 European languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Russian. Besides, MCPM supports Chinese (simplified and traditional) too. We welcome anyone who is interesting in translating English to other languages. Free serial numbers will be released to express our appreciation for the translation.

10. What connection type does MobTime Cell Phone Manager support?

Now MCPM supports 3 connection types: data cable (RS-232 and USB), IrDA Dongle and Bluetooth Dongle. When you use Bluetooth Dongle, please choose the Bluetooth Dongle with the driver of Widcomm

11. How to use Symbian Terminal Software?

¡ö Welcome

You are welcome to use our MobTime terminal software aimed at Symbian phones.

¡ö Install

You can download MobTime Cell Phone Manager from our website "http://www.mobtime.com" and you can get Symbian Terminal Software after MobTime Cell Phone Manager installed on your computer. (When MobTime Cell Phone Manage is installed successfully, in installation directory, like D:\MobTime Cell Phone Manager, you can find it in the folder "D:\MobTime Cell Phone Manager\Symbian").

Connect your Symbian phone with your computer via IrDA or Bluetooth connection, and send Symbian Terminal Software to your phone. The software will be saved in the "Inbox" of your phone. Select the software in the "Inbox" and install it. During setup, you can select "autostart on boot" to run the Terminal Software as long as you phone is open. If you don't select it, please run the "MobTime" in the phone's Menu and select "StartUp Client" when you want to use the software. If you want to stop the software, you can select "Menu->MobTime->Stop Client".

If you get a new version of Symbian Terminal Software, please uninstall the old version firstly, then restart your phone and install the new version.

¡ö Supported Models

We have developed different versions of Symbian Terminal software for different Symbian models, please select the corresponding version according to the following list:

MobTimeSetupS6_0_v1_X.SIS Nokia: 3650,3660,7650,N-Gage  Sendo:Sendo X  Siemens:SX1

MobTimeSetupS7_0_v1_X.SIS Nokia: 3230,6260,6600,6670,7610,7710  Panasonic: X700,X800

Note: we have tested Simens SX1, Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610. For the models we haven't tested, please try it by yourself. If there is any problem with the untested models, please contact with us.

¡öCommunication

1. IrDA: activate the phone IrDA and run "MobTime Cell Phone Manager", then set the communication configuration correctly (select Phone type as "Other".).

2. Bluetooth: Firstly you need install the Bluetooth dongle driver on your computer. Run the applications of Bluetooth dongle driver to find your phone. Of course, you should keep your phone Bluetooth active at this time. The applications of Bluetooth dongle driver will find your phone and some available services in which please select MobTime serial port service. Now you can run "MobTime Cell Phone Manager" and set the Comunication Configuration (select Phone type as "Other") correctly to manage your Symbian phone.

¡ö Remark

If you select the "autostart on boot", we advise you don't turn off your phone within 2 minutes after open the phone. Otherwise when you turn on your phone next time, a dialog will show you that fail to start some services. If this happens, the software no longer startup automatically when you turn on your phone. Please manually select "StartUp Client" or reinstall the software to resolve the problem.
